Can you please tell me how turn hdr off. It’s driving me nuts that I can’t figure it out. All my settings are locked behind it

Is anyone else getting really bad luminance overshoot in dark environments? if so, is there a setting to help mitigate it?

Is it a dealbreaker they are using gen 1 screen tech???

My graphics doesn't support 4k but in tv PC starts with 4k 30fps and PC automatically shuts down. Tv is lg uq7550

my problem is that there's no color accurate mode that lets you use wide-gamut when supported without oversaturating everything.... why can't we just have srgb gamut for srgb but when wide gamut is supported, it'd display the better colors?

when i launch a game the monitor goes to 3840x2160 at 120hz locked, how do i stop this? please help!

Still haven't fixed the hdr 1000 being dim compared to hdr 400. Asus has fixed this on their model so I'd skip these models and go asus

Dear Author! dear friends! Hi. I have this monitor. Please pay attention to important things that for some reason no one is talking about (the first one is VERY important): 1. If you look at the screen of this monitor directly, as usual, the colors are not very strong, but noticeably dimmer than if viewed from angles. This is very important and annoying, because when you approach the monitor, the colors are brighter and when you sit down at it, they get darker. This is probably a flaw in the matrix that can hardly be fixed programmatically. On the first point: I consider this unacceptable for a monitor in this price category. He's not worth his money. 2. Night vision in the AI position - in games with a top view (Dota 2 for example) - especially if you move the camera away with the mouse wheel on the replay - when you move the screen, light vertical stripes moving in the direction of the screen movement are clearly visible. 3. Hello again ^^ sorry for the specificity of this question but for a dual monitor setup (one gaming, one having shows/sports/streams/UA-cam or displaying chats and OBS, what would you recommend?

My monitor came with a Calibration Factory Report Sheet. Does it mean I don't need to calibrate it?

I never comment on UA-cam videos, but here I am forced to admit that these settings made my use of C2 so much better for standard PC mode and HDR gaming mode as explined in this video. Superb. Now I am getting full benefit of my C2!

Thanks for the great review. I picked one of these up mainly due to the burn in warranty compared to Samsung (and it was £150 cheaper). Have you had any feedback from MSI regarding a firmware update? The panel refresh doesn’t seem to be working properly and the screen annoyingly just pops up after four hours and needs to be set manually. I’ve looked round the internet and it seems many are having the same issue but MSI are being very quiet on it. Thought I’d ask yourself as you seem to be in touch with MSI directly.

5120x2160p is nice, only you need a beast of a graphic card to pump decent FPS out on that resolution (RTX 5000 series?). I'm still in doubt what to do. 34-inch with 3440x1140 is also ok i guess, but as i am used to 4K less sharp (but decent FPS FPS). 3440x1140 on 39-inch has a PPI that's to low, so not interesting for me.

I found it to be a bit too much on the warm side when editing photos, do you have any other recommendations, things to be aware of for this particular use? Great video btw :)

This monitor does have a confirmed hidden menu. Turn off your monitor. Once off. Push the joystick to the left 3 times and one time to the right, Then .Push in the center to turn the monitor on service menu. Once The main menu comes out. Go to settings ..and the hidden menu will pop up on the left side of your screen. Once there. You need to turn on HCDP on in order to enjoy netflix in full 4k with hdr. Otherwise it wont work. We need all the help we can get together.

Hi, i have a problem with this monitor, when i turn on pc monitor not turning on, it just showing: no signal on displayport. Is ther any solution ???

It looks like the 31.5in 4k WOLED panel with the new sub pixel layout (LG 32GS95UE) was released earlier than expected. Do you think the 45in 5K2K WOLED with the new sub pixel layout that’s set for production in December could be due a little sooner as well?

I am currently waiting for the MSI MPG 341CQPX review, will you be able to review it only when it goes on sale (probably in August) or can you possibly do it earlier? Because I noticed that some small MSI partners have already gotten it and have done their reviews on youtube I'm really looking forward to a review from you including. Tired of waiting for this model because 240 hz is really better than 175 hz. And I'm looking at MSI 271QRX periodically because I'm tired of sitting on my slow VA from xiaomi. Though I realize I'm too used to the 21:9 format and am unlikely to buy a standard 16:9. Too bad only MSI long enough to release this model on 240 hz, 21:9 format :(

I did the firmware update still had bad black flickering while in HDR I returned and kept the gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P no issues at all
